I have been reading your blog for a few months now and it has so many wonderful tips and tricks… thank you for all of the great information that you supply. I listened to your Podcast for the first time tonight. I am hooked! It’s interesting and entertaining. I am going to go back and listen to past episodes tonight! :)

You have NO idea how good this makes me feel! I have been less regular in keeping up with the blog and thought I’d lost folks because of that. And did you hear how I said on the show, “What if someone hears this for the first time…”? And here you are! It is a great thing for me to remember! Thanks for commenting, I really appreciate it.

You didn’t lose me, Katie, I was a bit concerned when a few weeks went by with few updates, but there was so much from even last month to process and work through for many of us. I had to leave my blog well before the holidays because of some personal stuff I had to work through.

Aside from drafting a new book for the first time in ages, I’m in the process of moving my blog from Blogger to WordPress, and that’s taking more time than I imagined. I have a lot of new content I’ve written for my blog backlogged until the move’s done, just so it takes less time to move everything (Past posts and comments) in less time.

Plus, with all the end of year drama, whether politcal or just heartbreaking (as touched on in the previous eposide), plus our own personal stuff, the year started slow for lots of people, myself included.

Another great episode, and worth the wait (Minor snafus aside, trust me, Katie I’ve seen and heard far worse, and if those migranes don’t lessen, talk do a doctor, just in case) and this has finally proven to me I can make use of Pinterest, even thouhg I’m not into crafts or an illustrator.

As a non-illustrator writer, for ages I debated how/if I could use Pintrest to my benefit, and if that novel only author mentioned in the interview with Eric can do it, so can I.

I registered a Pinterest account early on before it took off, just in case I needed it, and wouldn’t have to worry about my name being taken, something I had to deal with when I started using Twitter. One thing I will do soon is update my photo with a real picture of me. I know it’s best to use a real photo of you, but I haven’t been able to take a nice enough looking photo to be my universal photo yet, but I will.

The last decend picture of me is so old, it wouldn’t be reflective of how I look now, and I decided to just hire a good local photographer, that way I could take a high quality picture of me and have master file, than crop and shrink as needed.

I hope to be able to do Video Idiot Bootcamp, I’m on your e-mail list and the discount will hopefully be the only hurdle I need to leap over.

    Take Care,
    Taury

What a fabulous comment to wake up to! Thank you, Taury! I hope you’ll do VIBC too – I’m just finishing the last two lessons, will have my second level beta testers go through the course, and THEN it’ll be ready for launch! So happy you’re looking forward to it! That revs me up for the finish line! 8-)

Katie, Thanks again for having me on your podcast!

I was inspired by our discussion. I mentioned on the show that I think that teacher’s/activity guides would be a great thing to put on Pinterest.

I just posted a birthday post for Iza Trapani which includes an activity guide for her books. My kids and I did many of the activities. I took pictures of almost all the activities as separate pins. I am interested to see how it goes.
