Please join us this Saturday, June 4th, as Books of Wonder welcomes 7 authors and artists of enchanting, fun-filled new picture books. Husband and wife team KATIE DAVIS and JERRY DAVIS share their first collaborative effort in Little Chicken’s Big Day, a colorful and visually intriguing story; CHERISE MERCILE HARPER will introduce us to Fashion Kitty’s little sister Lana Kitty, as she teaches us how to prepare for The Best Birthday Ever By Me (Lana Kitty); Emmy Award-winning artist and author DIANE KREDENSOR shares Ollie and Moon, the story of two best friends on an adventure in Paris; acclaimed artist RAE MATE will share her wonderful artwork in Pussycat, Pussycat, Where Have You Beenby Dan Bar-El, this take on the classic nursery rhyme imagines where else Pussycat has been and what else he’s seen; Award-winning author and artist MARGIE PALATINI will share her two new hilarious picture books with us, Hogg Hogg & Hog a story of three very fashionable and trendy pigs, and Goldie and the Three Hare the story of what happens to Goldilocks after her infamous visit with the three bears; author and illustrator RYAN SIAS shows us even robots can use their imaginations in Zoe and Robot: Lets Pretend. Starting at noon, the authors will present their new books and take questions from the audience, they will then sign copies of all their great picture books. Ages 3-6, 12-2pm.
