While I presented at SCBWI in LA and also on my webinars, and basically in general, people ask me how I fit it all in. How do I host webinars, and do my newsletter, and go on TV and create a weekly podcast and blog AND write books?
I don’t.
I juggle. I let different things take center stage when I need to and let other things fall to the back of the line. Or I work on something for awhile and then something else. While I worked on the two webinar presentations and my SCBWI workshop I wasn’t writing. But I was simmering. I was thinking about it in the back of my mind. I was working out problems with one manuscript that’s been bugging me.
And now I get to work on that. It’s lucky I love what I do, but it gets frustrating for me, because I want to do it all! Yesterday I didn’t post a Freebie Friday drawing. That really bugs me, and I worry I’ll lose blog readers. I’ve not missed a podcast in the year I’ve been doing it, and to me that is a huge thing.
But now it’s the end of summer, and I’m going to allow myself to simmer a few ideas, questions, plot lines and hatch some plans for future webinars. So if you don’t see me around as much, that’s what I’m doing. I hope you’ll keep coming back once the school year starts.

I can’t imagine anyone would stop reading your blog for any reason. Nobody expects anybody to be able to do it all, and we all need time to refresh and recharge.
