A wonderful segment! In this era of i-everything (and don’t get me wrong, I love all the i-products!), it’s so refreshing to hear someone talking enthusiastically about children’s books!

Thank you so much! Very nice to read this – and I agree, I LOVE my i-everything but you can’t beat a great book.

I agree with Maria and Katie ~ Books can do things, even hop through dimensional barriers, that electronic devices can only simulate (and without chargers and batteries, too). Thanks for a great gift-suggestion segment that reminds us that there’s still nothing quite like a good book!

What a great segment timed right before the holidays! The pop-up book seemed delightful, the title reminded me of the song “knick knack paddy whack, give a dog a bone, this old man comes rolling home”. The three $7 books for young children would make a great gift. Looking forward to more segments such as this.

Yes, that is exactly what the book is! Duh me, I never said that on the show and only just realized!

Thanks for such a good segment. Loved the pop-up. And Wheels on the Bus DOES stand up to two-year-old eagerness.

Thanks, and WOW, good to know! If I can remember when I go on next, I’ll try to say that! I’m excited about my next appearance because it’ll be all about great ways to give unusual book gifts but not books…MYSTERIOUS, aren’t I?!
