Inspiration!

Since 1999, I have left the kids and Jer and have driven off into the tundra to attend Kindling Words. This was the best one yet in terms of what I got from it professionally. Franny Billingsley led the writing strand and David Weisner, the illustrating strand.  I had a huge breakthrough in both categories. I can’t wait to get back to work!
But first I must do the Dreaded Catch-up. Yuk. And then I have four podcast interviews to conduct today with the folks who will be on faculty with me at another awesome retreat at the Highlights Foundation. And then I’m going to write for the blog tour I start on Wednesday for the launch of How to Promote Your Children’s Book: Tips, Tricks, and Secrets to Create a Bestseller.
