Last Day (A Kind-of Acrostic Poem)
Pleeeeeze forgive me!
Oh! How I wish I could’ve kept up with a poem a day.
Even though I failed at that, I learned
That I like writing poems – who knew?!
Really!
You should try it. It’s fun.
Maybe I’ll try again next year.
On the other hand it may be better just to do it without that pressure!
Now I know, though, that I can write poetry if I want to.
That’s all I have to say.
Hello just 30 days ago, and now, goodbye to poetry month.
