Well, it’s the end of the inaugural PBM, at least. We will be back next year! But I’m a bit teary over the end of this lovely month, as I’ve loved how much the public, and the industry, has embraced our effort. I am thrilled at the response and the support we’ve gotten. I want to thank my fellow co-founders, Elizabeth O. Dulemba (author/illustrator), Tara Lazar (author), and Wendy Martin (author/illustrator). A hefty, huge, on-our-shoulders rah-rah thanks to our founder and Picture Book Month point-person, Dianne de Las Casas, who made this all happen. The fact that she only needs about 6 hours a sleep per week certainly helped!
