I would be much more interested in the general how to promote your children’s book ebook. The transcript book sounds like alot of work on your part. I would most like to listen rather than read.

Thanks, Jannie! I probably didn’t make myself clear enough! My ebook, How to Promote Your Children’s Book: Tips, Tricks, and Secrets to Create a Bestseller is basically a general book, but the title is too specific. And in recreating the ebook, which I then may also pub as a hard copy, I’ll simply call it How to Promote Your Book: Tips, Tricks, and Secrets to Create a Bestseller.
But it’s basically the same content.

Hi Katie,
I have been a listener for almost a year now.
You do have a handful of interviews that I would LOVE to have transcripts as I plan to use it as reference and go back to it. Examples of these are the Emma Dryden, FB Pages Part 1&2, and this episode. Other episodes such as author interviews, literacy advocates I love to listen to but I see the goal of those shows being going out and getting the book. There isn’t much reason to re-listen or in this case re-read.
I would totally pay money to get pdf files of the few episodes that I do plan to use as references. Maybe instead of doing an ebook of sequential podcasts your organize it by content. Another question I have is that your podcast format is very conversational which is good for hearing but I’m not sure about in written format. Will you be condensing the material so it is more streamlined?
Thanks again for creating this wonderful podcast!

I’m not sure how I’ll do it! It’s an on-going, in the moment learning experience! Sometimes I figure stuff out as I go along!

This is only the third podcast I’ve listened to but so far I have really liked the content and found it useful. I could see how it would be great to have a written transcript of the podcasts to easily refer back to from time to time after I have listened to it. Would I buy it? I really don’t know…
katie
Thanks, Manelle, this is good input. And of course, there are never any guarantees about anyone buying anything!
