Books 'o Rama!

BEA, or Book Expo America, starts this week. I’m very excited, because I’ll be able to check out a lot of books I might be able to take on WTNH on my book recommendation segments. The only problem will be carrying them all! I’m also excited because I’ve become a huge fan of Suzanne Collins, who wrote Gregor the Underlander series, and The Hunger Games. I, like so many others, couldn’t put down that one, and I’m dying to get my hands on the sequel! I hope I don’t geek out too much if I meet her.

One of my fave parts about this ongoing WTNH gig is…of course, you know already, right? I get to read all these fabulous books! (Also, I get real mail, which doesn’t happen too often anymore. I just got a package today with the incredibly cute new-ish book by writer and bookseller, Elizabeth Bluemle, called Dogs on the Bed, a full rhyming picture book that kind of reminds me of my house. Except that we only have one dog.
