We have no electricity or internet service. I can only text from my phone – but can’t send images. Right now I’m in our local public library (yet ANOTHER reason to protect our libraries!) with a bazillion other folks trying to work.
I’m setting up next week’s free webinar on Six Diabolical Ways to Create Your Platform.
Here is what my yard and my town looks like…
Watch what happened when this slate shingle flew off our roof!

I have been thinking of you so much. Glad things are ok, relatively. Did you get flooded at all? I just keep thinking so many good thoughts for NY and NJ.

Thanks, Julie…yes, I’m lucky because we had only some damage to our house (still, roofing – expensive to fix with a 113-year-old slate roof!) But no one got hurt and that is what counts.

Lost a tree in back, and some roof damage – on the roof of our garage the shingles are PEELED back. So amazing. There are trees that look like a giant just ripped them apart.

Oh Katie. Stay safe. I have my mom and relatives on Long Island, safe, not a lot of damage near them but no elec. They are lucky. So much devastation along the coast. You are all in our prayers. Glad your library has elec or at least a generator.

Thank you! Thank God your family is okay, too!

I am a podcast fan. So glad you are safe.

Thanks, Jackie! Did you know my maiden name was Freedman? Funny – it’s not that common with that spelling. 😎

Wow Katie! I’m so glad you’re okay and your house only has minor damage. The destruction I’m seeing on the news is so crazy!! Stay safe. Thinking of you.
