Thank you so much, Katie, for taking us behind the scenes at the 90-Second Newbery Film Festival. For people like me who sadly couldn’t attend the NYC festival, you provided an intimate look into this amazing event. I especially enjoyed the “fly on the wall” aspect of your time in the green room. It reminded me of your episodes where you went to a bookstore with an author friend or when you interviewed people at conferences. It felt like The Real World: KidLit. And I loved it! You asked if you should do episodes like this one again and the answer for me is a resounding yes. You made the world of the 90-Second Newbery Film Festival feel tangible and important – and most of all, incredibly fun!
