This is a fascinating experiment and I urge you to follow along on Julie Hedlund’s journey. This is going to be really something to watch. If you haven’t heard about it yet I highly recommend that you watch the first video, below, that Julie created to explain why she is crowdfunding to publish her next picture book. She also created a great five part series of blog posts to explain this new model of hybrid publishing model: part indie, part traditional publishing. SO COOL!
