Teachers for a New Era is funded by a grant from the Carnegie Foundation. It’s for training future teachers and their website, has topical podcasts which are also available for download on iTunes. The podcasts are used by teachers in the Schools of Education; Liberal Arts & Sciences and the School of Fine Arts in the curriculum and also by teachers in the state of Connecticut. There are also TNE programs at 11 other universities, including Stamford and Bank Street College.
