This was from the terrace on my last day (today). I have to hand it to Julie Hedlund. She really pulled off a spectacular event. I will have more videos of the Writers Renaissance Hotel and the view and the attendees, and you will drool! But you will be able to sign up for next year at this year’s prices for a very short time, and I have video to prove why you should do that, too! You’ll see! Stay tuned!

Katie – I LOVE the video. It is eloquent and poignant in its brevity and audio. I love how you only hear the wind live and at first it seems there is no audio but then you hear Violetta right at the end with “Croce e delizia…” Thank you for posting. Daniel! Thank you so much! And I’m thrilled to finally know what is playing! I have to tell you, Julie has been hounding me to write things down in a notebook (and not be precious about the notebook, which I always am!) I need the RIGHT notebook. Has to be the right size so I will carry it. Can’t be too heavy. Must be luscious to the touch. Must have an emotional context to it. The minute you gave me the notebook, that was IT. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! I’m sorry, but you have created a monster! I will need another when I fill this one! (And is “Croce e Delizia” the title of the song? Sorry, I don’t know opera?!)
