I am so excited to announce that I’ll be speaking at this year’s Blog World! I’ll be on a panel hosted by Pat Flynn (and you know how much I love him) and…wait for it…wait for it…
I’ve been asked to produce a panel on women in podcasting!
Who was the fabulous person responsible for inviting me? The one and only Podcast Answerman, Cliff Ravenscraft, who is running the podcasting thread at the conference! Thank you Cliff! I’m honored.
And now for the giveaway: I need a funny, informative, and enticing title for the women in podcasting panel. I’m still in recon mode, culling a list of fantastic and brilliant podcasters to invite, and I don’t have my agenda completely gelled yet though I do want to focus on the unique issues and benefits women have in podcasting, positive and negative.
Giveaway time!
I need to submit a title and description to Cliff by March 30. Submit your idea for a title for this panel in the comments to this post, and if I use it or any part of it, you will get the prize! Please spread the word, too!
Winner chooses the prize!
I will give away one digital product of my from my products page, winner to choose which one he or she wants!

March 22, 2012 - 10:45 am ·Congrats, Katie! How about CAN YOU HEAR US NOW? Women in Podcasting – or, if you’re gearing it toward benefits moms have in podcasting, something like MOMS AT THE MIC – or, if you want to bring in some old women’s suffrage poster language, something like: PETTICOAT PODCASTING: Struggles and Successes of Women Podcasters….
…anyway, I’ll leave it at that. Good luck!

March 22, 2012 - 10:21 am ·In reference to your Little Chicken character, you could use something like, “Chicks Know How to Chat” or “Chicks Chat in Podcasts” (kind of rhymey)
If referring to women as “chicks” sounds offensive to some you could use something like, “Girl Talk Everyone Wants to Listen To” or “Girl Talk for Everyone”
Good luck! Wish I could go.

March 22, 2012 - 11:55 am ·Love the chick stuff but since it’s not about my books, it’s not something I’d feel right using. But submit as many times as you want!
