Is it actually open, or only “kind of” open?
I took this photo in the elevator of the hotel I was staying in while presenting at the New York State Reading Association conference. I considered it particularly funny, considering why I was at that particular hotel.
I thought I was the only grammar dork, but found this fabulous blog called the “blog” of “unneccesary” quotation marks. It’s a must for all you other grammar dorks. Like I.

Ah, good times! I ate at the Union Grille while I was there. Fortunately, their food was better than their grammar! haha
