Betsy Bird, over at SLJ, reviewed Mirror Mirror today and 100 Scope Notes did too – and he did it in reverso (the form in the book) and so did Bookends!
In my last writing class at the prison, I took Mirror Mirror and led a reverso workshop – it is hard to write those! One person, Sharlene Henry, wrote an amazing reverso poem, and frankly I really wish you could hear Sharlene read it because she really performs it. Here it is, with Sharlene’s permission, of course, with the worst curses bleeped out:
