This episode was definitely This American Life caliber to me, Katie. (And it makes my heart happy to know that you too use TAL as your gauge of amazingness.) I loved learning more about Jarrett Krosoczka’s auction and how he became an artist, as well as the hilarious banter between the two of you. I also have to tell you how much I enjoyed being a fly on the wall during your trip to Little Joe’s Books with Kathi Appelt. You should definitely do more segments like this. (I’m thinking Lifestyles of the Rich in Talent 🙂 ) It’s so exciting to hear how authors geek out about other authors (and makes us superfans feel less geeky). Thank you so much for all of your hard work and enthusiasm that you put into making wonderful episodes like this one!

This is the BEST most amazing thing anyone has ever said about my podcast! Thank you so, so much! And yes, I will always geek out on other authors, even people who are actual friends of mine because to me, they are magical! Whipping a story out of thin air? Drawing something that amazes me? That is geekable, I think.
