That jingle rocks. OMG it was a coffee-spitting moment. I am now chanting “Brain-Burps about books” in my office! Tim, what a cool gift to Katie.
Loved Julie’s thoughts. Part of my daily journaling includes some thankful thoughts…. definitely a healthy habit!
I am still trying to work through the FB profile/page dilemma. I have actually built some amazing friendships through friending people on mine/their profile… some of whom I have since met in person, and some I would consider friends now, and hope to meet up with at a conference some day. If I had only had these people on a fan page, I don’t know if these relationships would have been formed?? I wonder if it makes a difference where you are in your journey? Secondly, fan pages do not seem to come up regularly in my feed, and I have to seek them out, thus I miss more stuff…. I do hear about moving all book-stuff to my fan page and may well do that…. Very much look forward to your podcast with Robyn. I was already following your fan page and twitter a/c, Katie.
I have been following the creation of Creston Books with great interest on FB. I love what Marissa is doing and the whole idea of mutual support and collaboration. I am pretty sure I will submit something to them! Good luck with all that paperwork!! Will be following on twitter (and any FB fan page :)) I do look forward to the book from a creative autistic kid’s POV. So happy to hear that even some of the big publishers have been real supportive.
Katie this was a fab-packed podcast. Thank you so much.

Oh my head is about to explode! WOW! I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED your interview with Marissa! I love the idea of authors helping authors, featuring authors on blogs, and other publications, and ads. Katie you are pregnant with ideas! I am extremely expressed with you. Marisa’s passion about what she’s doing is obvious and I applaud her. Actually, I’m standing on a chair (extremely sturdy one) clapping, cheering, out loud on her behalf. I’m heading over to read all about this Kickstarter project and Creston Books. I’m cheering for you to, Katie Davis. How brilliant is your jingle. Timm McCanna is TALENT! I want one for my literacy program…tee hee!

Oh. My. Gosh. The Brain Burps theme song is now playing over and over and over in my head! Aren’t you the lucky one to have your own jingle!? Fabulous. I listen to so many of your podcasts (in the bath tub, the kitchen cooking, having a snack in the big chair…sorry…tmi) but this one was particularly good. Aside from the wonderful interview, Dianne’s Take5 was really a great idea and I can’t wait to check into it. I ALWAYS learn on your site…always! Thanks so much for your enthusiastic take on writing. And now, for the theme song!!
