Why, oh why did I promise each day
to write a poem and have it display
upon my blog for the world’s eyes
no ego have I, I’m cut down to size.
Phew, that should do it, the day’s work is done
now to do taxes and have some real fun
because to write poems is no easy thing
I’ll figure my rebate ka-ching! Ka-ching!
