Using a Plot Device to Tell a Full Story in 10 MInutes

I always think that short stories are the hardest to write. You have to have a good plot that resolves in very few pages, fully drawn characters, and the pacing of a story arc that is satisfying in a little blip of a moment. That, to me, is a huge challenge. The video here is a perfect example of great storytelling in a short amount of time. Anyone who regularly reads my blog knows that I don’t believe in videos over a minute or two, but this is a short film, so don’t go all ballistic on me. And besides, if you are able to make a 10 minute video this good, all my rules do not apply. I think this is brilliant (and apparently, so does Hollywood, as it’s the hottest new short flick making the rounds). Enjoy!
