I was thrilled when teachingbooks.net contacted me to be a part of their extensive Author Name Pronunciation feature. It’s a fantastic way to get kids interested in specific authors, and frankly, it’s just fun. I can’t even imagine how excited I would have been as a kid if I’d been able to hear my favorite authors telling little stories on the origins of their names. Just hearing their voices would’ve freaked me out.
