Nope, I’m not older today – well, I am, technically. But I digress. My book is now on sale! Woohoo! I woke up at 6:11, dreaming of coffee, which I just gave up (again) and the minute my eyes opened, I felt like it was my birthday. I ripped off the covers and went to see what my little countdown widget would say. Oddly, it wasn’t working. Nevertheless, I do know the book is Out There now. In the world. With no protection from me! What a day, what a day. And to celebrate my book’s birth, and Earth Day, please don’t use any plastic bags today and watch this hopeful, and frankly, cute video from the New York Times. Thank you, Felicity! It’s sooooo exciting! I walked to my local little library to bring them a copy and it was so wonderful to have them get all excited! They all wanted to see it, and hold it and look at it. I felt great. It was weird being here alone all day, but my husband is coming home from a trip tonight and promised we’d crack some champagne!
